About the Dish

Nowadays, when you think of shabu-shabu, you probably think of beef and pork as standard, but the original shabu-shabu was a pot dish using sheep from Beijing, China. Mutton that warms the body is perfect for this cold season. Please enjoy the “original shabu-shabu” that you can do at home.

Ingredients

Ingredients (for 2 people)

  • 300g lamb thigh slices
  • 300g lettuce
  • 100g garland chrysanthemum
  • 2 spring onions
  • Appropriate amount of decorative carrots
  • 4 shiitake mushrooms

Lamb sesame sauce

  • 50g Ground sesame (white)
  • 30g Dark soy sauce
  • 20g White miso
  • 10g Caster sugar
  • A little grated garlic

Lamb shabu-shabu soup

  • 800g Water
  • 1 Kelp
  • 15g Sake
  • 10g Light soy sauce

Directions

    Lamb Sesame Sauce: Put all the ingredients into a food processor.

    Arrange each ingredient.

    Put the soup stock in a pot and boil it for about 5 minutes, then use it as usual to complete.
