Shashlik Kabab (charcoal grilled lamb chops)

Ingredients

  • 1 pc rack of lamb (cut into chops)

Marinate

  • 1 pc sliced onion
  • 2 cloves shaven garlic
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1tsp yogurt
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Directions

    In a bowl, mix all ingredients of the marinate
    Add to lamb chops and mix well
    Marinate over night
    on a charcoal grill, lit charcoal half hour before grilling
    On hot coal, grill chops to medium
    Serve with charred tomatoes, taftoon bread, garden herbs, and cucumber mint yogurt dip
