Chef Lee’s hospitality career has spanned three decades and his work has been recognized in his many roles around the globe. With a keen focus on food history and regional authenticity, Chef Lee regularly draws inspiration from the diversity and vibrancy of Toronto’s multicultural communities as well as his own Korean Heritage.

A passion for food and social justice

In his current position as Director of Hospitality Programs, Chef Lee overseas a team of instructors, cooks and support staff that provides up to 2000 meals a week while concurrently training those on social assistance to gain fulfilling careers in restaurants, hotels and institutions in the Greater Toronto Area. With a passion for food and social justice, Chef Lee continues to advocate for the needs of all people in gaining access to nutritious and delicious meals.
