Mai Sawaki

After working as a fashion model in Japan and abroad for 12 years, Mai Sawaki turned to a wine expert.

She is awarded the title of chevalier (knight) by the Order of Champagne, the most prestigious wine organization in the world, and the sommelier d’honneur (honorary sommelier) by the Japan Sommelier Association.
While running the food-themed website “Taberu no”, she proposes home cooking for a new generation to enjoy with wine through cooking classes and cookbooks at her own studio.
Her cooking programs, “Mai Sasaki’s delicious time” and “Mai Sasaki’s recipe for tomorrow”, which she planned and appeared on, have recorded high viewership ratings on each station.
