A food enthusiast and advocate of good-quality lamb, Foster said, “When I was approached by MLA with this opportunity, I absolutely jumped on it. I love lamb and have found it to be a rather misunderstood and often underappreciated meat. This role of Lambassador gives me the perfect platform to address the common gripes some may have, as well as share my love for this delicious meat.”
Tying in with the announcement of Paul Foster’s appointment, MLA has further announced:
- The launch of a four-episode cooking show that features Paul Foster getting into the kitchen with mom, Joyce Foster, as they put a fresh spin on family classics. Premiering on Mother’s Day (Sunday, 10 May), new episodes will be released every Sunday this May.
- The unveiling of the official Lambassador website, a repository of recipes, tips, and resources dedicated to True Aussie lamb.
- A second video series featuring Paul Foster will commence production shortly. This series follows Paul as he heads into town to collaborate with culinary maestros in the vibrant Singapore food scene, in what will be a celebration of good food and camaraderie.
“With a consumer base that is discerning and appreciative of good quality products, Singapore has always been an important market for True Aussie beef and lamb”, says Ellen Young, MLA Regional Manager of Southern Asia. “Lamb is an easy-to-use, delicious meat that can play an important role in ensuring a healthy and balanced diet. We’re excited to work with Paul to inspire more Singaporeans to enjoy lamb and to discover just how complementary it can be with our favourite recipes”.
