Jeff McInnis
Jeff grew up surrounded by the ocean and developed a love for fishing and cooking.
McInnis gained recognition as a finalist on “Top Chef” and went on to become the executive chef partner for several acclaimed restaurants.
He and his wife Janine Booth still operate concepts throughout the country including: Stiltsville Fish Bar, Root & Bone, MiTalia McInnis continues to receive accolades for his innovative approach to a vast range of cuisines, but most notably for multiple James Beard nominations.
Chef Jeff McInnis, is a Florida native and celebrated Chef and restaurateur with over 30 years in the industry. His culinary career began at age 16 when he got a job cutting and preparing fish at The Marina Café and led him to work in kitchens all over the US and Caribbean in cities like Charleston SC, Charlottesville VA, The Virgin Islands & San Francisco CA before moving to Miami and operating restaurants at The Ritz Carlton South Beach. Settling down in Miami, Jeff opened a couple of upscale restaurants as chef partner and landed himself a number of James Beard Nominations including “Best Chef South nomination” while owning and operating Yardbird Southern Table & Bar. After creating and building numerous successful restaurants for others, Jeff decided to move to New York and take a stab at the big apple with his wife and chef partner Janine where they opened their flagship restaurant Root & Bone which would then grow into multiple locations.
Chefs Jeff and Janine currently own and operate 10 restaurants and multiple concepts and cuisines across the US and Caribbean including Stiltsville Fish Bar (Miami), Trova Coastal Kitchen and Roots Coastal Kitchen (Puerto Rico), Stadium Club (Orlando), Root & Bone (Miami, Asheville, Indianapolis, Chesterton), Sunny Side Up (Miami) and Tackle Box Native Fish Co (Miami).
