Peter Smit
Being the culinary brainchild of the kitchen at one of the World’s Best Bars 2021, Australian-born Chef Peter is on his endless pursuit in refining the best ingredients to complement the bar’s exceptional cocktail programme.
New on the cards is P&C
A gastro bar jointly opened by Chef Pete Smit and Jay Gray. Situated upstairs of a shophouse at one of the hottest dining spots in Singapore, P&C serves up a seasonal tasting menu and locally flavoured tipples for pairing.
One’s palette must prepare itself for the ever evolving menus at P&C, a newly launched 12 seater diner opened by Chef Peter and his partner that sits at one of Singapore’s hip dining spots. With the culmination of skills honed in kitchens all over Australia, New Zealand, England, and Singapore, Chef Peter stays firmly committed to creating harmony in flavours with equal measures of respect and innovation.
The flavours are endless. You can use every part of it.
Chef Peter’s clever use of fresh produce and experimental masterminding are exemplified with the bites menu at Dirty Supper; each dish is stunningly plated on handmade ceramic pottery. His contribution to the Meat and Livestock Australia Lambassador programme would highlight Aussie lamb as a versatile animal that can be used from nose to tail, wasting no part of the quality meat accessible for anyone.
Much to his delight, he looks forward to sharing his knowledge and experience working with the whole lamb in the rising sustainable food fashion trend of highlighting no wastage. His uncomplicated cooking style only features five elements in a dish, focusing much on the authentic flavours from the ingredients.
